Had a blast! Guide was experienced and made us all feel safe. The guides went out of their way to ensure a good time. Could ask for a better first time down the Nantahala. Would return!
Elijah was our guide and he was super. Took about 2 hours to do down the fun & beautiful river. Safety is a high priority to them and I felt confident if I popped out of the boat into the water Elijah would save me! The only part I wasn't expecting is that you & your guide have to carry the raft down to the starting point and that thing is heavy!! There were only 2 of us plus Elijah so us girls had to have several rest periods & switching sides before we finally made it to the water. Great company, highly recommend them!!

I was a open boater and had paddled the Nantahala many times (years ago) and knew there were dangers if one fell out of your boat or raft. I advised Neal of my concerns and he advised me all would be OK. He was absolutely fabulous, he explained the river and it's beautiful scenery as we paddled
We had a great time, we reserved last minute at 11pm and the next morning they had us on the schedule ready to go. I didn't read the confirmation email they send and didn't know I was suppose to wear close toe shoes and they were kind enough to loan me a pair. We will go back. Awesome place.
